As incredulous as you may be, I wish to inform you that this:
is the face of a stone cold killer. Really! I've both owned and known other feline type creatures, many of whom are or were adroit hunters, but this gal takes it to a whole new level of serious business. She'll take down flies and moths on the first try, and since she delights in playing with her prey before making the kill, it will often get away at first. In this case, she will crouch, muscles taut, moving only her head to search the room with those huge green eyes. She will do this for an hour if need be, until her quarry reenters her field of vision. At that moment, it may as well sing its swan song.Maybe it's just because it's been a while since I've had a cat this young? Lily; that's her name. Also known as Sniper.

Lily is precious, I loved the description.
ReplyDeleteThis is Alyssa; I'm posting from my music blog, which most people don't know about. Its still in its baby stages, but I'm going to follow you :P
I'd love for you to read my blog and give me feedback, but be totally honest if you do because I'm trying to do this shit for a career and I want it to be good.
My posts aren't as often as I'd like them to be, but I'm trying to fix that.
I can't wait to read more!
This is Ka, and I have a blogspot, but I only use it to post short stories and such....periodically.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how Lily is luring you into a false sense of playfulness and cute-osity in that picture. One of my kittens is almost a mini-me of her. :)
